"Baltic Sea was conjured up from memories growing up near Bråviken, part of the Baltic Sea. It describes the mindset of coping with the Nordic winter, on land as well though, that little glimmer of light that keeps one going. I knew the Baltic countries to have a very strong string culture and I wanted a different sound than the typical Swedish, so as soon as I got a contact through a friend studying in Vilnius I went over and recorded the strings for the album. I was very pleased, they really nailed it. Probably because of their understanding of the Baltic too." - Dim Out
