As this was written in the scandinavian (scathen island) times of midsummer, which is an incredible time, I wanted to convey that feeling in the song. It was also the time of the covid-19 outbreak and that threatful
film noir thing just came in and joined the summer vibe. It is perhaps a weird combo for some, but never in the world of hiphop. Hip hop is the one style I think can kill a disrespectful virus.
